  • F&A makes every effort to maintain client privacy and confidentiality.  As a telemental health service, F&A employs encryption, password protection, secure data storage and remote memory wiping to safeguard against threats to client records. F&A uses BestNotes for its client records management.
  • F&A works with students after they have been accepted to boarding school and referred to F&A by an educational consultant. *
  • F&A protects your privacy. F&A clients, the educational consultant and the school work directly with F&A via state of the art HIPAA compliant phone and videoconferencing calls, emails and in-person visits and sessions. 
  • F&A meets in-person with the student, family and school staff just prior to, or on the day of enrollment and periodically during the duration of the service.  
  • F&A works with a limited number of students per quarter. Please contact Darrell for current availability. 
  • After completing the application process parents contract quarterly with F&A  There is no fee nor compensation for nor from the educational consultant or boarding school. 
  • Please email Darrell for the complete application process, fee structure and breakdown of specific details of sessions. 
  • F&A works primarily in the northeast due to scheduling of campus visits. Geographic exceptions are carefully considered and require an additional fee.
  • Parents may apply or access the  Release of Information Form here.
  • In strict accordance with federal HIPAA compliance, F&A requires a Release of Information Form (ROI) for every contact.  A ROI must be secured in advance to discuss specific clinical information about the student from the parent, or the student if over the age of 18.

* F&A believes it to be in the best interest of the student, family, and boarding school to rely on the professional direction of an educational consultant for placement decisions.  Darrell encourages all families to consider working with an independent consultant and will guide them to resources to help locate one.  If the family chooses not to use a consultant, it is with the full knowledge of the limitations of F&A's services in that area.
